Terms of Service

Last updated: June 29, 2026

Welcome to Toolverse. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Toolverse website and all tools, features, and content available at toolverse.com (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Toolverse provides free online developer tools including, but not limited to, JSON formatting and validation, Base64 encoding and decoding, JWT token decoding, and UUID generation. All tools operate client-side within your web browser. The Service is provided at no cost and does not require registration.

2. Tools Provided "As-Is"

All tools and content on Toolverse are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. While we strive for accuracy and reliability, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of the tools or the information they produce. Any reliance you place on the output of our tools is strictly at your own risk.

3. No Warranty

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TOOLVERSE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

4. Tool Accuracy Disclaimer

Our tools process data using standard browser APIs and well-established algorithms. However, edge cases, unusual inputs, or browser-specific behavior may produce unexpected results. You are responsible for verifying the output of any tool before using it in production systems, security-sensitive contexts, or compliance workflows. In particular:

  • The JWT decoder reads token contents but does not verify signatures. Never treat decoded output as proof of authenticity.
  • The JSON validator checks syntax only — it does not validate against JSON Schemas or application-specific rules.
  • UUID generation uses the browser's cryptographic random number generator, but UUIDs produced should not be used as security tokens or secrets.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any system or network connected to it.
  • Use automated bots, scrapers, or crawlers to access the Service in a manner that sends excessive requests or degrades performance for other users.
  • Misrepresent the output of our tools as certified, audited, or endorsed by Toolverse.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TOOLVERSE, ITS OWNERS, CONTRIBUTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE SERVICE.

7. Intellectual Property

The Toolverse name, logo, and original content are the property of Toolverse. The tools themselves process your data and do not claim ownership of any input you provide or output you receive. You retain full ownership of any data you process using the Service.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and may use Google Analytics for usage measurement. These third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies, which govern your relationship with them. Toolverse is not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

9. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the applicable jurisdiction.
